Dum Laga Ke Haisha (English: The Good-For-Nothing) is an upcoming 2015 Indian Hindi drama film directed by Sharat Katariya. It is produced by Vineet Jain, Shailesh Singh, and Aanand Mahendroo. The film stars Ayushmann Khurana in the lead role with Bhumi Pednekar in her Bollywood debut. Ranvir Shorey, Pankaj Tripathi, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Anita Date play supporting roles in the movie. The latter four will portray characters with cerebral palsy Synopsis A story of love between two people from different worlds who are willing to cross boundaries to be together. The film is about a young man from a village who after failing to clear his 10th grade exams, decides to marry the girl of his dreams. It is a depiction of the present day Indian social order and it also explores the grey areas between people from different classes. The soundtrack of Dum Laga Ke Haisha consists of 4 songs composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Amit Trivedi & Sharib-Toshi and lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil, Amitabh Verma & Sharib-Toshi. The first song from the movie was released on 12 January 2015 as a part of Valentine's Day marketing strategy. The soundtrack received positive to mixed response from critics, who praised the songs and performances of the cast and praised the lyrics as well as Tanishk Bagchi for his music. Principal photography commenced in Mumbai on 14 November 2014. The film is scheduled to release on February 6, 2015On 6 December 2014, director Sharat Katariya clarified that the film has not been banned by Censor Board of Film Certification due to any vulgarity, but because of excessive usage of abusive language. He also added that he tried getting it re-examined twice but was unsuccessful. Katariya also added that even his earlier film Hasee Toh Phasee faced similar problems with Censor Board. On 7 December 2014, Censor Board of Film Certification cleared the film without any cuts and awarded it with an 'A' certificate. !scope="col" colspan="5"|Box office The film had a special screening arranged for the crew of Doordarshan's popular show of the 1980s, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, which is popularly referred to as YJHZ.
